By accessing or using this website and engaging in any services, you (“you,” “your,” or “Client”) agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.

If you do not agree to these Terms, you must immediately cease using the website or engaging with any services.

Services Provided:

Rebeca Islam offers trauma therapy and relationship coaching services (“Services”).

These Services are designed to support individuals and couples in overcoming personal, relational, and emotional challenges. Our Services do not replace medical or psychiatric treatment, and no diagnosis or treatment for psychological disorders will be provided.

If you are experiencing severe mental health issues (e.g., suicidal thoughts, psychosis), you are encouraged to seek appropriate medical care immediately.

Confidentiality and Privacy:

We are committed to protecting your privacy and confidentiality in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth), the Health Records Act 2001 (VIC) (if applicable), and other relevant privacy regulations. All information shared during therapy or coaching sessions is confidential, unless:

You give us explicit consent to share the information.
We are required by law to disclose the information (e.g., in cases of imminent harm to yourself or others).
There is a court order requiring disclosure.

Rebeca Islam is a certified trauma therapist and relationship coach, offering services based on her professional training and experience. However, our Services are not intended to be a substitute for medical or psychological treatment. If you require psychiatric care or specialized therapy, we will refer you to the appropriate healthcare professionals.

Client Responsibilities:

By engaging in therapy or coaching with us, you acknowledge that:

You are responsible for your own mental, emotional, and physical well-being during and after sessions.
You are expected to actively participate in the therapeutic process, which includes following through on recommended exercises, maintaining communication, and being open about your needs.
You are responsible for attending scheduled sessions or informing us in advance if you are unable to attend.
Session Fees and Payment

Fees for Services are as outlined at the time of booking. All fees must be paid in advance, and payments can be made by credit card, bank transfer, or other payment methods as specified. We reserve the right to modify pricing with prior notice.

Cancellations or reschedules must be made at least 24 hours in advance to avoid a cancellation fee. No refund will be provided for missed appointments or failure to cancel within the specified timeframe.

Cancellations and Rescheduling:

Clients must provide 24 hours’ notice if they wish to cancel or reschedule a session. Cancellations made less than 24 hours before a scheduled session may result in a charge of 100% of the session fee.

In the event we need to cancel a session, we will offer an alternative date and time for the session.

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Rebeca Islam is not liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Services, including but not limited to emotional distress, financial loss, or relationship issues.

By using our Services, you acknowledge and agree that we are not responsible for any outcome of therapy or coaching and that you participate voluntarily in the process.

Code of Conduct

Clients are expected to treat the therapist and the therapeutic space with respect. Rebeca Islam reserves the right to terminate the therapeutic relationship with any client exhibiting inappropriate behavior, such as verbal abuse, harassment, or aggression, without refund.

Intellectual Property

All content, including materials, resources, worksheets, articles, and other intellectual property on this website and shared during therapy or coaching, is the property of Rebeca Islam and is protected by copyright laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or use any of this content for commercial purposes without explicit consent.

Dispute Resolution

In the event of a dispute, we aim to resolve the matter amicably and in a professional manner. Should the dispute not be resolved through discussion, we agree to follow a dispute resolution process, which may include mediation or other forms of resolution.

If legal action becomes necessary, the dispute will be governed by the laws of the State of [Insert State], Australia.

Changes to Terms and Conditions
